A few good
questions.
Built to help you observe, organize, and plan.
Does this give me a fixed watering schedule?
No. Water needs change with the plant, its roots, soil, container, and weather. The workbook helps you decide what to check and record rather than prescribing the same schedule for every garden.
Can I use it for newly planted flowers?
Yes. Give new plants their own observations. Check their root ball as well as the surrounding soil while they establish.
Can I use it for containers?
Yes. Use separate sheets for containers, which can dry differently from in-ground beds. Follow the instructions for any self-watering planter.
How do I use the workbook?
Download the PDF, print it, and write your notes by hand. Use a separate copy for beds with different conditions.
